A graduate of the University of Ottawa’s Telfer School of Management with an Honours Bachelors of Commerce in Finance, Brandon started his career at Don Stockman Financial Services in 2010 where he gained knowledge and insight into the financial planning industry as an analyst. Hired through his University’s co-operative education program, he developed an in depth knowledge of insurance solutions and the operations side of the firm. Succeeding co-op terms introduced Brandon to investment analysis and financial plan design. Upon graduating with distinction in 2012, Brandon joined Don Stockman Financial Services as an associate advisor. He is motivated to work with clients to create financial plans that will give them a clearer financial picture and develop investment strategies to achieve their goals. He has been a financial advisor for Manulife Securities Investment Services Inc since 2013.

Brandon has been quoted in The Globe & Mail, Investment Executive, and on Advisor.ca on topics ranging from business building to current trends in the industry. He also was a featured speaker at the 2015 Distinguished Advisor Conference in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico where he discussed strategies for established advisory firms to attract and serve millenial clients.

Outside of the firm, Brandon enjoys sharing insights about entrepreneurship and business ownership with university students. He recognizes that the future of Canadian business depends on the success of the next generation of entrepreneurs.

This is the highest honour given to advisors with Manulife Financial and shows Don's commitment to providing quality service to his clients. He graduated with a Bachelor of Environmental Studies from the University of Waterloo in 1974 and obtained his Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) designation in 1995.

Don enjoys a variety of activities including curling, golfing, skiing, and walking. He is married to Brenda and has three daughters: Tiffany, Elizabeth, and Nancy and three grandchildren: Marcus, Bryce, and Calista.

Brenda is responsible for our various annual client events; our client referral dinner, client appreciation night and the Seminary Golf Tournament. These events are truly unique and special due to Brenda's artistic talents and thoughtfulness.
